Did the race from Venice to Rio today with Mav. In this race I used the LMS G2 with WR improve hoping I'd get a bit more speed than my LMS G3 Vixen displays with its SSU skills but lower WR. Seems Mav, KenSmythe and I were all neck and neck heading towards the final port. Somehow edged both, though thought they were both in front of me... (Rass swears he didn't pay off officials in Rio) and somehow ended up with a decent time for 4th at the moment. (shrugs) -- Well it was SUPER fun racing for speed even though I felt Mav definitely beat me port to port. There will be another day... and another race.

Taking a break from maritime and shipwreck hunting I decided to explore areas and do quests for regions I really haven't spent a lot of time on. Found this gang on the Western coast of North America, they must've known I'm looking for a new aide.

Today Capt'n Rass worked on MANY South American quests including several chain quests. These led me all around South America and throughout the Carribean. A great deal of time was spent in hostile waters while some time in the current safe waters of the East coast as well. I enjoyed a quest in which I did battle with 10 ships off the coast of Peru and helped the Inca to uncover a lost relic VERY important them gaining me a new title, clothing and opening up the quests to discover unseen regions that few explorers have ever been. I just unlocked the hidden city of Cusco in Peru. I won't spoil what is here but it is a hidden city in UWO with mysteries of its own. Fantastic quest line. Enjoyed it a lot this weekend.

The Labyrinth..... Tonight I acquired a clue/quest for Poseidon's Anger which is 1 of 3 special quests of the Atlantis Treasure Hunt. This one finally got me into the Labyrinth on Crete and I began to explore. It's a dungeon but as you clear each floor you continue further down. Around floor 8 I took a secret passage and it led me into a workshop area that used special gold items to craft one of two items. In addition other secret passages awarded trade goods and a few memorial album items. Enemies grow stronger as you go down. By Floor 21 I was getting 3 Level 61 enemies which were pretty damn strong even for me. This would be an excellent dungeon to explore in groups but they tend to be large floors and takes a while to find the enemies. My clue discovery was Ariadne Ball which seems to be a consumable. Only info I can find on it is it might be an advanced ingredient in alchemy.

Way to go. I can't wait till I get high enough.... This seems a lot like a classic AD&D dungeon.... awesome.

Rassalon's Secret Mercator MeetingIn an effort to find alternative faster routes to the orient I'm finally tackling the Northeast and Northwest Passage quests and charting. I've slipped on the Cartographer Captain's hat and much to the dismay of my crew we are setting out on some SUPER long voyages to chart the oceans of UWO. Mercator has given me the SUPER secret mission of finding the Legendary Lost Booze of Cortez. We're going to load up with our not so legendary booze and set out in hopes of running into islands and other nautical landmarks on our way to finding this VINTAGE bottle of booze believed lost. My first officer says the natives have already gotten drunk off it but what does he know. There are also rumors of a lost fountain of booze or was that youth? I'm currently up to 53 zones charted with maybe about 25% of the world charted. That's ok they're getting to help their captain become a nautical charting legend. Good on ya crew.
